মূত্রনালীর সংক্রমণ (UTI)

মূত্রনালীর সংক্রমণ (UTI) হল মূত্রতন্ত্রের যেকোনো অংশে যেমন মূত্রনালী, মূত্রনালী, কিডনি বা মূত্রাশয়ের সংক্রমণ। সাধারণত ব্যাকটেরিয়া শরীরে প্রবেশের কারণে হয়। মহিলাদের মধ্যে UTI অত্যন্ত সাধারণ কারণ তাদের মূত্রনালী ছোট হয় যার ফলে ব্যাকটেরিয়াগুলি সিস্টেমে প্রবেশের জন্য ছোট এবং সহজ পথ তৈরি করে।

অসুস্থতার লক্ষণ

- প্রস্রাবের দুর্গন্ধ।
- প্রস্রাবের রঙ গাঢ়।
- পেলভিক অঞ্চলে ব্যথা।
- প্রস্রাব বা সহবাসের সময় ব্যথা।
- প্রস্রাব করতে সমস্যা।

রোগের সম্ভাব্য কারণ:

- ব্যাকটেরিয়া কিডনিতে প্রবেশ করে সংক্রমণ ঘটায় বলে এটি হয়। অণুজীব মূত্রনালী, মূত্রাশয় এবং মূত্রতন্ত্রের অন্যান্য অংশে ভ্রমণ করে সংক্রমণ ঘটাতে পারে। ই. কোলাই হল ইউটিআই-এর সবচেয়ে সাধারণ কারণগুলির মধ্যে একটি।

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

Urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection in any part of the urinary system such as the urethra, ureter, kidney or bladder. Usually caused by bacteria entering the system. UTI is extremely common in women due to their urethra being small which results in a smaller and easier pathway for bacteria to get into the system.

Symptoms

- Foul smell of urine.
- Dark urine colour.
- Pain in the pelvic area.
- Pain during urination or intercourse.
- Problems urinating.

Possible Causes:

- It is caused by Bacteria entering the renal system and causing an infection. Microorganisms might travel through the urethra and to the bladder and other parts of the urinary system and cause an infection. E. coli is one of the most common causes for UTI.

- Medication.
- Antibiotics, talk with your doctor before taking any medicine.
